I’m Leemus. Here’s where I’m coming from.
I’m a New Zealander with lived experience of puberphonia. The personal material here comes from my 2024 voice diary and memoir draft. I’m not presenting myself as a clinician. The clinical pages are sourced and clearly marked clinical review pending.
I want this to be useful both to someone looking for a name for their voice problem and to someone who has found a lower voice but is frightened to use it. My experience helps me describe the second question. It doesn’t qualify me to diagnose the first.

My diary and memoir describe what happened to me. They are not a timetable or treatment plan for somebody else.
No diagnosis by resemblance
Audio, checklists and stories can orient a reader; they cannot examine a larynx or diagnose a condition.

Material factual changes will be dated and explained. Unsupported claims are removed, not quietly polished.

A note about the artwork
The artwork was created for this site using AI. The portrait of me and the car and motocross scenes use my likeness from my 2024 Day 1 recording. They are illustrated reconstructions, not current photographs or images of those exact events. Other people and the dog are illustrative, not portraits of my clinicians or my pet.
